Our Services

The OCCA maintains strong relationships with federal, state, and local governments and their agencies, as well as allied organizations.  The OCCA is actively involved in political action committees as well; your membership provides you with a proactive approach for establishing state and local legislative issues related to the concrete paving industry.

Taking Initiative on a Local Level

As the local voice of the industry, the OCCA serves as the recognized force in leading initiatives on behalf of its members.  Today we are positioned to impact business and market growth, identify and communicate changes and needs in the marketplace, and implement member objectives through:

  • Technical support programs and services provided by staff engineers who are experts in pavement and concrete construction technology.
  • Strong advocacy initiatives with local government agencies, legislators, affiliated association, and organizations.
  • Workshops and seminars planned to provide the latest technical information on concrete paving and concrete construction, address current issues, and answer questions.

Taking Initiative on a National Level

The national office of the American Concrete Pavement Association provides all members and their state associations with professional services by addressing the broad range of technical and market related issues facing the industry today, by providing:

  • Innovations in concrete pavement design, construction, and rehabilitation.
  • Development of tools and specifications related to concrete pavement design and construction.
  • Active involvement with national agencies to improve technology and construction issues.
  • Development of education and training programs to share "best practices" for design and constructability.
